Pyrodex® RS (Rifle Shotgun) may be used in any percussion muzzleloading rifles and shotguns. It is the most versatile powder in the Pyrodex® series and has a wide range of applications. It, like other Pyrodex® grades, burns cleaner and creates less fouling than black powder. On a particle size basis, RS is comparable to FFG black powder.
Pyrodex® P (Pistol)is designed for use in all pistols and smaller bore rifles with bore sizes of.45 caliber or below. P may also be used as a priming charge in weapons with a convoluted or fouled ignition path or other concerning ignition issues. On a particle size basis, Pyrodex® P is comparable to FFFG black powder.
